- PIS/PAS (PAVA) - passenger information (PIS) and public address & voice alarm (PAVA) system is a comprehensive solution dedicated for railway infrastructure. PIS subsystem consists of a range of visual information panels, displays and monitors, fully customizable, designed to operate in railway environment and in a wide temperature range, providing multiple display layouts for rail traffic passenger information as well as service, alerts and multimedia content. Complementary, the PAVA subsystem is designed and dedicated to support railway stations and rail stops operations with rail traffic announcements as well as service, alerts and any other audio messages. PAVA system is designed and certified as a voice alarm system (being compliant with a series of standards such as EN54) to support fire protection systems in case of fire alarms/events for proper evacuation and alert audio messages.
- Clocking - Time is a crucial factor in the Public transport sector. Passengers must be able to rely on the displayed time during their journey and the rail infrastructure must be accurately synchronized. The time displays have to be easily readable and it is essential that the time synchronization of the different subsystems throughout the rail infrastructure works seamlessly. All the rail subsystems must always be on time for railway security and in the congested rail network, any delay can have a domino effect causing significant disruptions to transport services.
- Passenger information - the on-board passenger information systems (PIS) are part of complete PIS solutions that cover back-office application, communication infrastructure, information displays and controllers. Our PIS solutions are dedicated for public transport companies and cover a wide range of operational needs for such applications. From dispatch's back-office application where the user defines the timetables and broadcast them to vehicles and stations to collection of real time data from vehicles in regards to position and operation parameters, to platform information displays (LCD and LED), PIS solutions represent a part of integrated ITS solutions that match public transport companies needs.
- Traffic management - Alfred Net designs and deliver traffic management solutions. These solutions are complex and require integration between hardware (different kind of sensors, variable message displays, surveillance cameras and more) and software applications, dedicated for traffic, including command and control room. Alfred Net team has a proven experience in design, deliver and integration of such solutions. - Fleet management - we design and deliver solutions for traffic supervision dedicated for public transport companies. These solutions are meant to provide real time and continuous monitoring of vehicles in operation including collection of information about correctness, effective location and inform passengers at the stations about actual departure and arrival time of the vehicles. Once deployed, the end user will automatically benefit of effective management of public transport adaptable to any type of situation, better adherence of vehicles to timetables, more effective use of rolling stock based on accurate transit data, improved level of driver and passengers safety having online monitored emergency signals from the vehicle, reduced costs for vehicles operation by real time monitoring of technical parameters, overloads and improper operation of the vehicle, and continuous tracing of movement. - Fare collection - Alfred Net provides turn-key solutions for automated fare collection (AFC). AFC represents a part of complex integrated ITS solutions and very important as role among tools that enhance the operations of the public transport company. AFC solutions are composed by hardware and software elements, both on-board, in the back-office and stations. Central ticketing software is located in the back-office and manages all features of the application such as data for vehicles (timetables, fare tariffs), transfer of data to on-board units of the system, collect and compute data for comprehensive reporting, manage POS-es and their equipment, handle control devices (hand-held) and manage the web interface dedicated for passengers. The operator is able to define a wide range of ticket types as well as to choose the ticket media such as electronic or paper. AFC solution can be easily integrated at different levels with third party applications for processes automation and comprehensive reporting. Physical access solutions can be complementary to AFC for access restriction on train platforms or metro stations.
- Object detection - This represents one of the solutions Alfred Net has in its portfolio dedicated for railway. This object detection solution is an integrated product, tested and developed in real traffic and implemented already to different rail infrastructures within Europe. This solution is dedicated for level crossings and its design allows an easy integration within Level's Crossing topology. The solution is very robust, reliable and provides an accurate result for object detection once the barriers are closed. The solution can be easily integrated with the signalling system. Every implementation is unique and requires specialist knowledge.
- Intelligent parking - Alfred Net designs and deliver intelligent parking solutions dedicated for a wide range of applications such as residential areas, business campuses, shopping malls, private and public parking areas, hospitals and more. Our parking solutions can match almost any user's requirement. We deliver modular solutions so that the user can benefit for exact intelligent parking components he needs. Nevertheless, our solutions are complete, from barriers, license plate recognition sensors, free space indicators, vending machines, pay-points, software applications and based on our integration engineers, we can integrate the solutions with user's third party applications.
- Number plate recognition - ANPR or automatic number plate recognition system is dedicated for a wide range of applications starting from highways, toll, residential areas, security points, parking solutions and more. Alfred Net design and deliver ANPR solutions as stand alone or part of complex integrated solutions that we deliver. We can face almost any ANPR requirement from small installation for a residential area to complex multi site applications.
- Communications - all of the solutions we design, implement, deliver and integrate require infrastructure. None of the solutions we do cannot function without a strong communication infrastructure / backbone behind. Network design and requirements is one the parts of our solution architecture process. We design the network infrastructure requirements and architecture or we know what to do to improve any existing one to fulfill the load required for solutions that we do to work properly. Therefore, Alfred Net will design and deliver any communication infrastructure to withstand any required signal, bandwidth and transmission environment.
